This broad curve allowed for a good look at the engines and all the coaches in front of us. Unfortunately we wern't allowed to move from coach to coach.
Boxcar turned into an office.
A lone water tanker. Probably used to fill the steamers.
First Tunnel. The drop off that bridge was dizzyingly high.
Tunnel number 2. We're starting to get up into the cloud cover.
Reaching the summit and the border. 2888 feet up and 20.4 miles from Skagway. That's an average 2.7 percent grade.
Old Wood Caboose.
Steam Powered Rotary Snowplow. They still use this occasionally in the winter.
